Meditation, Peace in the Yin Yang, Zen and Labyrinth Gardens. The Yin Yang symbol represents many ideas: that two opposite characteristics can exist in harmony and complement each other, that the world (particularly the natural world) is interconnected, that there can be no light without dark, no valleys without mountains, no moon without the sun. It is a symbol of balance, peace, and harmony. It is what we at Panorama Pass aspire to be. We invite you, as guests at the Chateaus, to enjoy this space in the morning sunshine, for quiet times throughout the day, and to star gaze at night.
The dog park at Chateau Sonoma is available for Chateau guests, Sonoma has a fenced in area for your dog to run free.
Relax under the shade sails on the Sonoma patio, take in the beauty of the desert landscape and watch your dog having fun exploring.
The Loop Trail at Chateau Sonoma While at Sonoma, explore the Loop Trail Hike, a ¾ mile path immediately out the back door, which takes you up the mountain to one of the most spectacular views in all of the high desert!
The Sonoma Lodge offers guests a large shared area with full kitchen, dining room, and den. Guests can choose to use these amenities or stay fully self-contained in their suites.
Sonoma is a large, rambling home, with multiple spaces to share experiences in the beauty of the desert surroundings. Great for a group of friends with shared interests, a family reunion or a business get together. Sonoma Lodge offers comfort and spaciousness for a multiplicity of gatherings.
Enjoy dark starry night skies from the Sonoma star gazing platform. Situated on the hillside of Sonoma, the platform provides the perfect view of the skies. The platform is a great place to relax any time of day, or night. Bring your yoga mat, time for yoga and meditations a also a great way to begin or end a day.
Enjoy the Shade Sails at Sonoma. Lounge chairs, dining tables and games. Challenge yourself with a game of horse shoes and corn hole. The kids will have fun in the sand box.
Soaking tub at Sonoma. Guests at Sonoma can enjoy a hot water soak, surrounded by beautiful rockscapes and expansive views of Morongo Valley and Mt. San Jacinto. (Coming Soon).
Bicycle Paths. Bring your bicycle, we'll provide the maps. Ride from Sonoma to the top of a water tower look out hill, or wind your way from Sonoma through Morongo Valley to Hidden Passage.
